Stair takes shape

June 29, 2007

The stair that’s being built from sustainably sourced Larch by Tin Tab has been assembled down in the workshop near Lewes in West Sussex and I went down to have a look.
It’s looking good although rather difficult to get the impression of the vertical slot going up three floors from within the warehouse.
Here’s a pic of the ground to first floor standing in all its woody glory.

Patent glazing arrives

June 25, 2007

The back of the site, sorry house, has become water tight with the patent glazing and then the rear doors going in. Good job too with this weather.

Here’s a snap of the patent glazed section.

Scaffolding comes down

June 8, 2007

Things are progressing and the scaffolding is down so now the world can see what’s been covered up for so long. No screams of horror from the neighbours so far.
More pics to come soon.
